At the time of his induction, Scott ranked 5th in all-time scoring for the Thomas Men’s Basketball program. With 1,689 points scored in four seasons, Scott eclipsed the 400-point mark in two of them.
Growing up in Maine’s Aroostook Country, Scott was a stand-out basketball player for the Caribou Vikings, including being selected as Big East Player of the Year and achieving All-Stat 3rd Team honors during his senior year. In 1998, Scott’s first year at Thomas, he was selected as the Maine Athletic Conference (MAC) Rookie of the Year. As a sophomore and junior, Scott achieved MAC 2nd Team honors, and in 2001, Scott’s senior year as a Terrier, he was named to the MAC 1st Team, and achieved the distinction of being nominated as a preseason All-American.
Graduating with a degree in Sports Management, Marketing Management Concentration, Scott then set his sights on a career in the financial services sector. With a master of Accountancy from the University of Denver, Scott is currently employed by Wells Fargo Capital Finance. He currently lives in Denver, Colorado, with his 10-year-old son, Ashton, and girlfriend Jazmine Tran.
