A native of Lewiston, Coach Berticelli served as the Men’s Soccer Coach at Thomas from 1976-1980, compiling a career record of 41-19-2 and was named Coach of the Year in 1977. Mike Legendary Career continued at Old Dominion University, where from 1984-1989 Mike’s team compiled a record of 76-27-16 and Sun Belt Conference Titles in 1987 and 1989. From 1990-1999, Mike served as Head Coach at Notre Dame, achieving an overall record of 104-80-19. While leading the Irish to NCAA appearances in ’93, ’94, and ’96. Mike went on to produced serval books and videos on soccer skills training that are still being used today.
