Michael Chamard was the first Thomas Baseball player to be named North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Player of the Year, winning the award in 2008. That season, Chamard led the league in batting average (.388) and slugging percentage (.600), while ranking among the league leaders in runs scored, hits, and total bases. He was also a NAC All-Conference First Team member in 2008 and was named to the All-Conference Second Team in 2007. He was the team leader in singles, doubles, and triples, both in 2007 and in 2008, and he is among the all-time program leaders in numerous statistical categories, including doubles (19), triples (8), RBIs (61), and stolen bases (20).
