Waterville, ME -
Gustav Franzen and
Cody Robinson both picked up North Atlantic Conference Weekly Awards for the week of 9/10/26. The Terriers went 1-1 last week, falling 2-3 against Colby College early in the week, then bouncing back to defeat the University of Maine Farmington 4-2 on Saturday, both at home.
Gustav Franzen was named the NAC Defensive Player of the Week after a strong week for the Terriers, serving as a super-sub in both games. Despite being a defender, he earned two assists, one in both games this week in a combined 60 minutes played. Franzen's ability to win the ball back, then begin attacks was extremely valuable for the Terriers this past week.
Cody Robinson was named to the NAC Honor Roll after a strong performance against the University of Maine Farmington. Despite being limited to just three minutes against Colby due to injury, Robinson had a fantastic week for the Terriers, helping them earn a huge 4-2 conference win against UMF. Robinson was the star man up front, earning both a goal and an assist in the game (63 minutes played). Robinson's impact was felt both offensively and defensively, often winning the ball back from the opposing defenders before helping start counterattacks.'
Men's Soccer will be back in action on Tuesday, September 15th, when they travel to take on the University of New England. Game time is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
