Waterville, ME -
Adam Elkott and
Jamie Fischer both earned North Atlantic Conference Weekly Awards for the week of 9/5/26. Elkott was named the NAC Player of the Week and Fischer was named the NAC Defensive Player of the Week.
Adam Elkott had an excellent game in midfield for the Terriers in the team's only countable matchup, a 1-0 road win against Western New England University. Elkott controlled the game from midfield, sliding back defensively and consistently winning the ball back, while also moving up the field to create attacking chances. This culminated in his first goal of the season, finding himself in the right place at the right time to score what would be the game winning goal.
Jamie Fischer had a strong performance in the team's only countable game this week, a 1-0 win at Western New England University. Defensively Fischer made four crucial saves to secure the shutout, while his ability to help organize players defensively served as a valuable point of emphasis in the team's 1-0 win.
Men's Soccer will be back in action later today, when they take on Colby College at home at 7:30 PM.
