Thebarge, Freeman, and Delehanty All Earn CMCFHC Weekly Awards for Week of 9/10/26

Waterville, ME - Samatha Thebarge, Maci Freeman, and Meredith Delehanty all earned Central Maine Collegiate Field Hockey Conference Weekly Awards for the week of 9/10/26. Field Hockey won both of their games last week, 6-3 against Plymouth State University and 4-3 against Rivier University, both at home.

Samantha Thebarge was named the CMCFHC's Player of the Week after scoring a combined six goals and adding two assists in both games this weekend. Thebarge contributed on every goal scored against Rivier, also adding a defensive save against Plymouth State.

Maci Freeman was named the CMCFHC's Defensive Player of the Week after playing a huge role in both defending but also on penalty corners. Freeman earned an incredible six assists this past weekend, including four against Plymouth State. 

Meredith Delehanty was named the CMCFHC's Rookie of the Week after playing a huge role in both wins this past weekend for the Terriers. Delehanty made a goal-line defensive save in the final minutes against Rivier to help the team hang on to win 4-3.

Field Hockey will be back in action when they travel to take on #10 ranked Bates College on Tuesday, September 15th, 2026. Start time is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
