Waterville, ME - Ajay Rychcik and Ankit Shah both earned NAC Baseball Weekly Awards for the week of 4/10/26. The Terriers went 2-2 in that time, falling in the first two games of the four game series at Husson University, but then bounced back to defeat the Eagles 9-5 and 5-3 at home on Sunday.

Ajay Rychcik earned this week's NAC Rookie of the Week Award after dominating at the plate for the Terriers. In Rychcik's 11 at bats he earned six hits, five RBI, and two home runs for a .545 batting average. Rychcik's ability defensively for the Terriers was also a key asset, earning a 1.000 fielding percentage with no errors and several key long throws to hold baserunners at third from right field. Rychcik's best game came on Sunday in game one against the Eagles, where he earned two hits, two RBI, and had a home run to help the Terriers earn a crucial 9-5 conference win.

Ankit Shah earned a spot on the NAC Honor Roll after his dominant pitching performance in the team's 5-3 win against the Eagles on Sunday. Shah was tasked with the start to secure a series split, and delivered. He pitched six innings, only allowing three runs and three earned with six strikeouts. After letting by two runs in the top of the first inning, Shah was able to find his footing and delivered five straight scoreless innings to help the Terriers go on to win 5-3 and split the series against the Eagles.

Baseball will be back in action on Saturday, April 18th, when they take on Lesley University at home. Start times are scheduled for 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM.
