TJ Blackmon and
Isaiah Godley both earned North Atlantic Conference weekly awards for the week of 1/31/26. The Terriers went 1-2 in that time, defeating VTSU Lyndon early in the week 78-72, falling to Maine Maritime Academy on Friday 69-71, and falling to University of Maine Farmington 83-95 on Saturday.
Blackmon earned this week's NAC Defensive Player of the Week award after three incredible defensive performances. On Tuesday against Lyndon Blackmon stuffed the stat sheet with 16 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 blocks, and an incredible 8 steals. Later in the week against Maine Maritime Blackmon nearly earned a triple-double with 12 points, 9 assists, 8 rebounds, 1 block, and 4 steals. In the team's final game of the week Blackmon exploded for 40 points, 6 rebounds, 2 blocks, and an impressive 7 more steals. Blackmon averaged 2 blocks per game and 6.3 steals with 8 rebounds per game.
Godley earned a spot on this week's NAC Honor Roll after three consistent performances this week. He emerged as a strong option, scoring at least 14 points and grabbing six rebounds in all three games. Godley had arguably his best performance against Maine Maritime, where he led the team in scoring with 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds. In total Godley averaged 15.6 points per game and 6.6 rebounds per game this past week.
Men's Basketball will be back in action on Friday, February 7th, 2026, when they take on Lesley University at home. Game time is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
