Clay, Hendrickson, and Drummond Earn CMCFHC Weekly Awards

Waterville, ME – McKenzie Clay, Caroline Hendrickson, and Eliya Drummond all earned Central Maine Collegiate Field Hockey Conference Weekly Awards for the week of August 29th. The Terriers split in their two games, falling to a talented Skidmore College squad on Friday 1-2, then bouncing back and defeating Mt. Holyoke by a score of 2-0 on Sunday.
 
McKenzie Clay was recognized as the CMCFHC's Defensive Player of the Week after playing almost every minute for the Terriers last week. Clay was a defensive force, holding Skidmore to just two goals and helped contribute to the first shutout of 2025 on Sunday against Mt. Holyoke.
 
Caroline Hendrickson was recognized as the CMCFHC's Rookie Player of the Week after scoring her first collegiate goal against Mt. Holyoke on Sunday. Hendrickson played an important role in the midfield for the Terriers, helping to facilitate attacking opportunities – which led to her first goal to seal a 2-0 win.
 
Eliya Drummond was recognized as the CMCFHC's Goalie of the Week after an impressive performance in the cage for the Terriers this past week. Drummond played all 60 minutes in a 2-0 win over Mt. Holyoke, making five saves in the process. This was Drummond's first appearance in net for the Terriers, as well as her first shutout.

Field Hockey will be back in action when they take on the Saint Joseph's College of Maine Monks at home on September 3rd, 2025. Game time is set for 7:00 PM.
