Waterville, ME -
TJ Blackmon and
Payton Mitchell both earned spots on the North Atlantic Conference Honor Roll for their performances in the week of 11/22/25. The Terriers went 1-2 in that time, falling to Colby College and Husson University on Wednesday and Friday, but bounced back to earn a crucial 77-62 conference win against the University of Maine Presque Isle on Saturday.
TJ Blackmon was named to the NAC Honor Roll after three impressive performances against talented teams. On Wednesday Blackmon packed the stat sheet with nine points, two steals, a block, six assists, and four rebounds in 28 minutes played. He followed up with 20 points with six assists, six rebounds, and three steals on Friday against Husson in 32 minutes. Blackmon also went 9-12 from the floor against the Eagles. On Sunday Blackmon scored 12 points while adding six more rebounds, eight assists, two blocks, and three steals. Blackmon's ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor has been valuable for the Terriers, and will look to continue his success headed further into the season.
Payton Mitchell was also named to the NAC Honor Roll after several strong defensive performances for the Terriers. Mitchell was tasked with guarding the best offensive players for all three teams played during the week. Against Colby on Wednesday Mitchell played 17 minutes, holding Max Poulton to just 3 points, who is a 1,000 point scorer for Colby, while accumulating four points, four rebounds, and two steals. Against Husson on Friday Mitchell played 36 minutes, and once he was switched onto Connor Heald he held him to only score twice. Mitchell finished the game with four points, seven rebounds, and one stael. Arguably most impressive was Mitchell's performance Against UMPI on Saturday, where he held to Duane Williams scoreless in 20 minutes guarding him, finishing with eight points and 11 rebounds.
