How it Happened:
  • The Terriers would jump out to an early lead to start the first half thanks to points from Yasmo Mohamud, Isiah Corson, and Jayden Desimone.

  • Payton Mitchell and Spencer Minihan would continue to generate points for the Terriers midway through the first half, but a response from the Badgers would cut the Terriers lead to just two points.
  • Both teams would trade points minutes later, but points from TJ Blackmon, Desimone, and Corson late in the half would make it a 28-20 game.
  • Despite eight quick points from the Badgers in the final minutes of the half, the Terriers would head into the half with a 35-32 lead.
  • Desimone, Mohamud, and Blackmon would continue to fuel the Terriers offense to open the second half, each contributing in a 13-4 scoring run to make it a 48-36 game.
  • The Badgers would continue to cut into the lead shortly after, but Corson and Blackmon would respond with buckets of their own to help the Terriers maintain a double digit lead.
  • Denash Davis and Isaiah Godley helped extend the Terriers lead midway through the second half, combining for five quick points to push the lead to 60–46 with under 8 minutes remaining.
