Box Score 3 Bangor, ME – The Terriers went into the NAC Championship Tournament at the #3 Seed and worked their way through three games until falling to Husson University on Monday's Loser Bracket game, 4-3. On day 1 the Terriers started off by playing the Eagles falling 8-6 and then to play a second game on day 1. The Thomas Terriers then took on the #4 seed SUNY Canton during their second game on Sunday and sent the first team of the tournament home with a 15-7 win.

Game 1; Thomas vs Husson
How it Happened:
- As the away team, the Terriers took advantage of the opportunity of batting first scoring a run right away when Nick Hutson doubled, scoring Cam Haynes
- At the top of the second inning Thomas continued scoring, adding their second run after Matt Seymour scored off an Eagle error
- Husson came back to take the lead in the third inning after a three-run home run
- At the top of the fourth the Terriers did not let the Eagles momentum hurt them, taking back the lead 4-3 when Jason Bartlett brought in Seymour after hitting a double to left field followed by Elijah Morton then scoring Bartlett with a double of his own
- The game went scoreless for two full innings, until the Terriers added two more runs in the seventh inning thanks to Seymore singling to center bringing in Tony Meza immediately followed by Austin Stebbins scoring Aaron Young, 6-3 Thomas
- Making it a close game the Eagles added two runs of their own, off five hits, 6-5 Thomas
- The bottom of the eighth was when the Husson Eagles took the lead to win, scoring three runs off two hits, final score 8-6 Husson
The Pitchers:
Four Terriers pitched game one, starting with
Jarrad Willette on the mound, who pitched the first three innings. Willette was followed by Wyatt Thompson who pitched three innings as well, before being relieved in the seventh inning by
Andrew Pruell. Pruell pitched through the middle of the eighth and was relieved by
Daniel May who pitched to the last four batters.
Game 2; Thomas vs SUNY Canton
How it Happened:
- After being sent to the losers bracket the Terriers pulled out a big win against the Roo's starting immediately in the first inning getting up by a two-run home run score by Hutson
- Canton did respond in the third and fourth inning, getting up to a score of 7-2
- Hutson again scored in the fourth thanks to Seymour for an RBI single to center field
- As the Terriers kept chipping away at the Roo's lead, Thomas scored another single run in the fifth inning off and RBI single from Hutson to bring in Stebbins
- It wasn't until the sixth inning where the Terriers got back into the lead off four hits, scoring four runs, 8-7 Thomas
- Thomas kept the hits going in the seventh inning, scoring seven runs off six hits including a double form Bartlett, who brought in two, final score 15-7 Thomas
The Pitchers:
Zach Nickerson started the Terriers second game on the mound pitching the first three full innings and part of the fourth being relieved by
Tyler Cantey. Cantey came in midway through the fourth inning. Allowing four runs scored against, but ended with the highest number of strikeouts out of all Thomas pitchers for the tournament with six total.
Game 3; Thomas vs Husson
- After winning against SUNY Canton the Terriers played the game four loser on Monday which ended up being Husson University
- Thomas started from behind in this game against Husson after the Eagles scored runs in the second and third innings, making the score 2-0
- The first Terrier run did not come until the fourth inning after Young scored Hutson who had singled for right field earlier, making the game 2-1 Husson
- The next run did not score until the seventh inning and that was from Husson off a wild pitch
- The Terriers did come back to take the lead at the bottom of the seventh after Reid Gagnon scored Patrick Temby after singling to center field followed by Morton hitting a double scoring both Gagnon and Bartlett, 4-3 Thomas
- At the top of the eighth Husson scored two runs, one being a home run, while the other was scored from a double
- The Terriers were unable to make any more offensive movement leaving the final score 5-4 Husson
The Pitchers:
Garrison Paillet was the starting pitcher for the Terriers in their final game. He pitched seven full innings allowing three runs against and ended with four strikeouts. Meza then came into pitch at the top of the eighth but was relieved by May at four at bats. May pitched the rest of the eighth inning and finished out the ninth.
