Men's Tennis Moves to 7-0 After 6-1 Win Against Salem State

Box Score Waterville, ME - Men's Tennis earned their seventh straight win to move to 7-0 on the season after a 6-1 win against Salem State University at home on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026.

How it Happened:
  • At #1 doubles Casey Duncan and Thai Nguyen earned a hard-fought win, 7-6 (7-5).
  • Camden Herrick and Dominic Clifford at the #2 spot won 6-1 in convincing fashion.
  • Nick Magiera and Ricky Salazar earned a 6-0 sweep to close out doubles, giving the Terriers a 1-0 lead.
  • Nguyen once again was put through a hard-fought match, going to three sets but ultimately falling at #1 singles 5-7, 6-3, 4-6.
  • At the #2 singles spot Clifford made quick work of his opponent, winning 6-2, 6-0.
  • Herrick won by a similar scoreline, 6-3, 6-1.
  • At #4 singles Calvin Cutler earned a win by a narrower margin, 6-4, 6-4.
  • Duncan at the #5 spot was able to come out on top after a three set thriller, 4-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-6).
  • To wrap up the day for the Terriers Magiera earned a 6-1, 6-0 win to make the final score 6-1.

  • Men's Tennis will look to continue their undefeated start to the season when they take on VTSU Johnson at home on Saturday, April 4th, 2026. Start time is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
