Boston, MA - Qualified student-athletes from Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field traveled to The Track at New Balance to compete in the NCAA Division III New England Championships on Sunday, March 1st, 2026. The Men's team placed in 24th out of 30 teams, while the Women's team placed in 11th out of 34 schools, their highest finish in school history.
How it Happened:
Women's Indoor Track & Field:
- Nabah Yahya placed second in the Women's 600 Meters with a time of 1:35.17. This time earned Yahya a new school record.
- Yahya also placed ninth in the Women's Triple Jump with a distance of 35 feet and 10.5 inches.
- Kara Anderson placed 19th in the Women's Triple Jump with a distance of 33 feet and 9.5 inches.
- Celia Stinson placed 22nd in the Women's 600 Meters with a time of 1:45.62.
- Emma Burr placed second in the Women's 60 Meter Hurdles with a time of 8.81. This time earned Burr a new school record.
- Burr also placed third in the Women's Long Jump with a distance of 18 feet and 10 inches. This jump earned Burr another school record.
- Cassidy Hardy placed 20th in the Women's Shot Put with a distance of 34 feet and 8.5 inches.
- Yahya, Solece Campbell, Brienne Eldred, and Stinson placed 25th in the Women's 4x200 Relay with a time of 1:58.40.
- The Women's Team placed in 11th with 22 points, the highest finish in program history.
Men's Indoor Track & Field
- Alwin Andree placed fourth in the Men's 600 Meters with a time of 1:22.81. This time earned Andree a new school record
- Gage Bruns place 11th in the Men's 600 Meters with a time of 1:24.61.
- Patrick McKenney, Michael Johnson, Andree, and Bruns placed 19th in the Men's 4x800 Meter Relay with a time of 8:35.55.
- The Men's Team placed in 24th place with five points.
What's Next:
- Qualified student-athletes will continue their Indoor Track & Field Season at the NCAA Division III National Championships in Birmingham, Alabama on Friday and Saturday, March 13th and 14th, 2026. Start time is TBD.
