Indoor Track & Field Sets Three School Records, One Team Record at Mule Tune-Up

Waterville, ME - Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Traveled to compete in the 2026 Mule Tune-Up, held at Colby College on Saturday, February 21st, 2026. Three new school records were set, and one team record was set. With today's meet, the Men's and Women's team now have a combined 19 NCAA Division III New England Qualifiers, a new school record. There was no team scoring at this meet.

How it Happened:

Men's Indoor Track & Field
  • Nick Plamondon placed second in the Men's 60 Meters with a time of 7.11 seconds.
  • Plamondon also placed second in the Men's Long Jump with a distance of 21 feet and 4 inches.
  • Gage Bruns placed first in the Men's 600 Meters with a time of 1:24.82.
  • James Cote, Miles Gadwah, Brenden Francis, and Lukas MacLean placed third in the Men's 4x400 Meter Relay with a time of 4:05.67.
  • Alwin Andree, Bruns, Tristan Hughes, and Patrick McKenney placed first in the Men's 4x800 Meter Relay with a time of 8:26.66. This time earned the team a new school record.
  • Treaz Hardy placed third in the Men's High Jump with a height of 5 feet and 10.5 inches.
  • Thomas Grady placed second in the Men's Shot Put with a distance of 44 feet and 3.25 inches. This throw earned Grady a qualification to the NCAA Division III New England Championships.
  • Grady also placed second in the Men's Weight Throw with a distance of 46 feet and 10.75 inches.

Women's Indoor Track & Field
  • Emma Burr placed first in the Women's 200 Meters with a time of 25.98.
  • Burr also placed first in the Women's 60 Meter Hurdles with a time of 8.95 seconds. This time earned Burr a new school record.
  • Nabah Yahya placed third in the Women's 200 Meters with a time of 26.83. This time earned Yahya a qualification to the NCAA Division III New England Championships.
  • Yahya also placed second in the Women's 600 Meters with a time of 1:38.91. This time earned Yahya a new school record.
  • Burr, Brienne Eldred, Kayla Hatt, and Rebekah Ireland placed second in the Women's 4x400 Meter Relay with a time of 4:33.05.
  • Cassidy Hardy placed third in the Women's Shot Put with a distance of 35 feet and 0.5 inches.
  • Celia Stinson placed seventh in the Women's 600 Meters with a time of 1:44.26. This time earned Stinson a qualification to the NCAA Division III New England Championships.

What's Next:
  • Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field will be back in action on Saturday, February 28th, and Sunday, March 1st, 2026. Those who have qualified will travel to Tufts University for Multi only, while the rest will travel to The Track at New Balance in Boston, Massachussetts, for the NCAA Division III New England Championships. Start times are TBD.
