Lewiston, ME - Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field traveled to Bates College to compete in the 2026 Maine State Meet. Both teams placed fifth out of eight schools. Competing schools included Bates College, Bowdoin College, Colby College, University of Southern Maine, Thomas College, Saint Joseph's College of Maine, University of Maine Farmington, and Husson University.
How it Happened:
Men's Indoor Track & Field
- Nick Plamondon placed third in the Men's 60 Meters with a time of 7.18 seconds.
- Alwin Andree placed first and won the Men's 600 Meters with a time of 1:23.38. This time earned Andree a new school record.
- Treaz Hardy placed third in the Men's Triple Jump with a distance of 41' 11.25".
- Thomas Grady placed fifth in the Men's Weight Throw with a distance of 48' 10.75". This throw earned Grady a provisional qualification to the NCAA Division III New England Championships.
- Gage Bruns placed fourth in the Men's 600 Meters with a time of 1:25.78. This time earned Bruns a provisional qualification to the NCAA Division III New England Championships.
- The Men's Team placed fifth out of eight teams with a score of 48 points. This score beat out NAC opponents UMF and Husson by a wide margin.
Women's Indoor Track & Field
- Nabah Yahya placed third in the Women's 600 Meters with a time of 1:40.55.
- Emma Burr placed second in the Women's 60 Meter Hurdles with a time of 9.22 seconds.
- The Women's Team placed fifth out of eight schools with a score of 34 points. This score beat out NAC opponents UMF and Husson by a wide margin.
What's Next:
- Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field will be back in action on Friday and Saturday, February 13th and 14th, 2026, when they travel to Bowdoin College to compete in the 2026 Lynn Ruddy Invitational. Start times are TBD.
