Indoor Track & Field Sets Six School Records at 2026 Lynn Ruddy Invitational

Brunswick, ME - Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field traveled to compete in the 2026 Lynn Rudy Invitational, hosted by Bowdoin College on Friday and Saturday, February 13th and 14th, 2026. Six school records were broken in a strong showing from both teams. Several NCAA Division III teams from across New England traveled to compete in the two-day event.

How it Happened:

Men's Indoor Track & Field:
  • Nick Plamondon placed third in the Men's 60 Meters with a time of 7.13 seconds.
  • Alwin Andree placed first in the Men's 800 Meters with a time of 1:57.06. This time earned Andree a new school record and a qualification to the NCAA Division III New England Championships.
  • Gage Bruns placed second in the Men's 800 Meters with a time of 2:00.32. This time earned Bruns a qualification to the NCAA Division III New England Championships.
  • Jeffrey Flees placed first in the Men's 5000 Meters with a time of 16:43.35.
  • Andree, Bruns, Patrick McKenney, and Tristan Hughes placed third in the Men's 4x400 Relay with a time of 3:37.35.
  • Plamondon placed third in the Men's Long Jump with a distance of 21 feet and 5.25 inches.

Women's Indoor Track & Field:
  • Celia Stinson placed second in the Women's 600 Meters with a time of 1:46.67.
  • Nabah Yahya placed first in the Women's 800 Meters with a time of 2:25.70. This time earned Yahya a new school record and a qualification to the NCAA Division III New England Championships.
  • Kayla Hatt placed first in the Women's 1000 Meters with a time of 3:35.63.
  • Emma Burr placed second in the Women's 60 Meter Hurdles with a time of 9.22 seconds.
  • Kara Anderson, Solece Campbell, Yahya, and Brienne Eldred placed first in the Women's 4x200 Relay with a time of 1:51.71.
  • Cassidy Hardy placed third in the Women's Shot Put with a distance of 38 feet and 5.5 inches. This throw tied saw Hardy tie a school record.
  • Burr placed first in the Women's Pentathlon with a score of 3487. This score earned Burr a new school record, and qualification to the NCAA Division III New England Championships.
  • In the Women's Pentathlon Burr competed in the High Jump, tying a school record at 5 feet, 1.75 inches.
  • In the Women's Pentathlon Burr also competed in the Long Jump, breaking a school record with a distance of 18 feet and 3.25 inches.

What's Next:
  • Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field will be back in action on Saturday, February 21st, when they travel to Colby College to compete in the 2026 Colby Invitational. Start time is TBD.
