Waterville, ME – Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Traveled to compete in the 2026 Colby Mini-Meet, hosted by Colby College on Friday, January 23rd, 2026. The Terriers earned an incredible nine first place finishes, four on the Women's Side and five on the Men's Side. Other competing teams included Colby College and the University of Maine Farmington. There was no overall team scoring.
How it Happened:
Women's Indoor Track & Field:
- Kara Anderson placed first the Women's 200 Meters with a time of 29.78.
- Nabah Yahya placed first in the Women's 600 Meters with a time of 1:41.14. This time earned Yahya a new school record and a provisional qualification to the NCAA Division III New England Championships.
- Emma Burr placed first in the Women's High Jump with a height of 5 feet and 0.25 inches. provisional qualification to the NCAA Division III New England Championships.
- Eliza Wheeler placed first in the Women's Weight Throw with a distance of 41 feet and 5.25 inches.
Men's Indoor Track & Field:
- Nick Plamondon placed first in the Men's 60 Meters with a time of 7.17.
- Nolan Garey placed first in the Men's 200 Meters with a time of 24.01.
- Jauza James placed first in the Men's 600 Meters with a time of 1:31.45.
- Kaden Mills placed first in the Men's Long Jump with a distance of 18 feet and 0.25 inches.
- Thomas Grady placed first in the Men's Weight Throw with a distance of 46 feet and two inches.
What's Next:
- Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field will be back in action on Friday, January 30th and Saturday, January 31st, when they travel to Boston, Massachusetts to compete in the Boston University John Thomas Terrier Classic. Start time is TBD.
