Waterville, ME – David Ivarsson, Jamie Fischer, and Kevin Segura all earned North Atlantic Conference weekly awards for the week of September 19th. Men's Soccer only played one game in that time, a 3-0 win against the University of Southern Maine

David Ivarsson was recognized as the NAC's Player of the Week after scoring two goals in a 3-0 shutout win against the University of Southern Maine. Ivarsson earned and converted the team's first goal, an important penalty kick to make it 1-0. Early in the second half David scored again, finding the bottom left corner after some pressure from the opposing defense.

Jamie Fischer was recognized as the NAC's Defensive Player of the Week after recording a shutout in the Terriers' 3-0 victory over the University of Southern Maine over the weekend. Fischer made five important saves off 15 shots faced in 90 minutes. Fischer was also nearly perfect in terms of distribution, with his calm presence on the ball and long-range passing ability helping to set up the team's attacking opportunities.

Kevin Segura was recognized on the NAC's Honor Roll for Men's Soccer, having another strong performance in midfield for the Terriers. Segura was a key part of the team's shutout win and recorded some impressive stats. Segura went 33/34 on passes, made 19 ball recoveries, and had an assist on one of Ivarsson's goals.

Men's Soccer will be back in action when they travel to take on the University of Maine Farmington on Wednesday, September 24th. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
