Box Score Augusta, ME - Men's Tennis was home playing at A-COPI Tennis & Sports Center facing off against the Norwich University Cadets on Saturday, April 12th, for their second matchup of the year. This match up ended up similar to the first, with the Terriers winning 6-3.
 
How it Happened:
 
Doubles:

• Starting off at #1 Gabriel McPhail and Sebastian Soto partnered together once again. After a back and forth match they fell in the end, losing 6-8.
• At #2 Dominic Clifford and Camden Herrick turned the tables, winning 8-2.
• Harrison Withee and Nick Magiera at #3 finished doubles strong and won 8-4.

 
Singles:

• McPhail at #1 played well and fought hard but ended up going down in a second score tie breaker, the final score ended 5-7, 6-7 (10-12).
• Soto in a long third set won the first game 7-6 (7-0), then lost the second 3-6, and the third 4-6.
• Herrick with yet another three set match but ended with a different winning 6-1, 3-6, 7-5.
• Clifford with a quick match at #4 won 6-0, 6-1.
• Calvin Cutler came out off the bench to give Thomas another win 6-2, 7-5.
• Casey Duncan finished out singles with a dominant performance, winning 6-0, 6-0.

 
What's Next:  

• The Terriers are back at home again on April 16 at 4:00 PM for a scrimmage against the University of Maine at Augusta Moose.
