Waterville, ME – Men's Tennis was home against the Lesley University Lynx in an Empire 8 Conference doubleheader matchup on Saturday, March 29th, 2025. Both matches ended in a 9-0 sweep for the Terriers.

How it Happened:
 
Match #1:

Doubles:

• Gabriel McPhail and Seb Soto  come out firing taking the first win for Thomas 8-1.
• #2 Doubles, made up of Camden Herrick and Dominic Clifford, got the win without dropping a game - winning 8-0.
• To finish doubles strong, Harrison Withee and Nick Magiera give Thomas a 3-0 lead, winning 8-1.

 
Singles:

• McPhail won 6-1, 6-1, in #1 singles.
• Soto followed right behind, quickly winning 6-0, 6-0, at the #2 spot.
• Herrick also played well, winning 6-1, 6-1, in #3 singles.
• Both Clifford, Calvin Cutler, and Casey Duncan won in #4, #5, and #6 singles in convincing fashion, with the Terriers cruising to a 9-0 win in their first match of the day.

Doubles:

• With some different faces in the lineup for match two, the Terriers continued to dominate.
• Culter and Soto at #1 doubles come together to start the Terriers off strong again, with a 8-5 win.
• Kaden Small and Duncan took the court together at the #2 slot and end with a flawless 8-0 victory.
• At #3 Danny Kezerle partnered with Magiera to get a 8-4 win.

 
Singles: 

• Cutler stayed consistent, winning 6-3, 6-3, at #1 singles.
• Duncan followed up with a 6-1, 6-0 win.
• Withee, Small, Magiera, and Kegan Rodrigue all won their single matches 6-0, 6-0, as the Terriers earned their second 9-0 victory of the day.

 
What's Next:

• The Terriers will travel to Vermont for a weekend of conference match ups against the Vermont State University Lyndon Hornets on Saturday, April 5 at 1:00 PM, then the Vermont State University Johnson badgers on Sunday, April 6 at 1:00 PM.
