Box Score 2 Winter Haven, FL – Thomas College Softball took on Muskingum University and UMass Dartmouth in their second day of games taking the loss in both games.

Game 1:
How it Happened:
- The Fighting Muskies had a big first inning scoring five of their runs off five hits
- The four other runs from Muskingum came from the third inning off a double and homerun
- Due to the mercy rule, the game ended in the fifth inning with a final score of 9-0
Pitchers:
Jordan Devine started in the circle and took the loss for Thomas, she was relieved by
Megan Oberholzer at the start of the second inning. Devine walked two batter and allowed six hits. Oberholzer ended with three walks and seven hits.
Game 2:
How it Happened:
- The Terriers and Corsairs both had slow starts in the game with two quick innings
- UMass Dartmouth scored all three of their runs in the top of the third of off three hits and one error from the Terriers
- The fourth inning looked promising for the Terriers, as Kaylee Fonseca singled in the outfield sending Riley Giblin home, but was called out in the diving play
- Thomas was unable to add any runs in the rest of the game resulting in the 3-0 loss
Pitchers:
Kelsey Currier pitched for the Terriers and ended with four strikeouts. Four walks were given by Currier along with six hits.
What is Next:
Thomas College Softball will play day #3 against Northwestern St. Paul at 9:00 am followed by Marietta College at 11:30 am.
