Waterville, ME - Softball earned six North Atlantic Conference postseason awards for their success this past spring. The Terriers went 21-20, and 12-4 in conference play. The Terriers conclude their season at 21 wins, their most since the 2019 season, tied for the third most single season wins of all time, and the team made it back to the NAC Championship Series for the first time since the 2022 season.
Megan Oberholzer / NAC First Team All-Conference - Oberholzer had another strong season for the Terriers, finishing first on the team as a senior in batting average (.373), hits (47), doubles (14), and RBI (40). She also earned four wins in the pitching circle, striking out 31 batters and a 2.80 ERA in conference play. Oberholzer played a key role on offensive, as well as at first base and pitcher for the Terriers, starting in every single game.
Lillian Noyes / NAC First Team All-Conference - Noyes had an excellent debut season as a sophomore for the Terriers, primarily serving as a pitcher. She appeared in 26 games in the circle for the Terriers, earning a 12-8 overall record. Noyes recorded her 100th strikeout in just her first season with the team, finishing with 111. Noyes was dominant through conference play, with a WHIP of 1.40 and an ERA of 3.22.
Abby Farone / NAC Second Team All-Conference - Farone had a much improved season during her senior year, batting .283, and .439 in conference play. Farone started in every game she played (40), and earned 28 hits, seven doubles, 16 RBI, and went a perfect 8-8 on stolen bases. She also recorded a .958 fielding percentage as the team's center fielder.
Maddy Morris / NAC Second Team All-Conference - Morris, a sophomore shortstop for the Terriers, had a breakout season. She had a .346 batting average in conference play, earning 34 hits in 38 games started along with nine hits, and 21 RBI. Morris had above a .900 fielding percentage as a shortstop, often making difficult plays both on the ground and in the air.
