WATERVILLE, ME – Thomas College was unable to pick up a victory in their first conference contest of the season, falling 7-2 to Colby-Sawyer in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) men's tennis match on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Tyler Small picked up wins in #2 singles and #1 doubles in the losing effort.

Eric Morin were able to defeat Cass McCann and Sergio Spassof, 8-6. The Chargers defeated Thomas in the other doubles matches to take a 3-1 advantage heading into singles.
Colby-Sawyer took all but one match in singles play, with the exception being a 6-1, 6-4 defeat for Small versus McCann.
Malcolm Marshall battled in the third singles spot, winning the second set 6-4, but ultimately fell in the third set 4-2 to Spassof.
The Terriers will return to action tomorrow as they travel to Rhode Island College for a non-conference match.
