DUDLEY, MA- Nichols College defeated Thomas in a non-conference men's lacrosse game 18-3, Friday evening at Vendetti Field.

Nichols raced out to a 7-0 lead behind a goal and two assist from Bane. Senior Sean Machin (Brunswick, Maine) scored the first of his two goals at 11:21 of the second for Thomas. Bryan Ferris (Whitman, Mass) would add one with 1:46 remaining in the contest for the Terriers.

Junior Liam Sullivan (Mashpee, Mass.) and freshman Chris Litchfield (Burlington, Mass.) each scored three goals for the Bisons in the win.  Sophomore Michael Bane (North Grafton, Mass.) added two goals and two assists for Nichols (1-3).

In goal, freshman Seth Drouin (Madison, Conn.) recorded nine saves to earn his first collegiate victory. Senior Jesse Morkeski (Damariscotta, Maine) tallied 18 saves for the Terriers, who slipped to 1-2 on the season.

The Terriers will be back in action on Sunday to play at Wentworth at 4:30 p.m.
