CLERMONT, FL- The Terriers (0-4) were unable to pick up their first win of the season on day two of their spring trip. In the first game Thomas fell to Farleigh Durham-Florham 4-0, then in the second game lost to Becker 5-1.

GAME TWO

In the second game against Becker, sophomore Faith Robinson (Auburn, N.H.) pitched well, allowing only one earned run in six innings and striking out six.

Becker did most of their damage in a three-run second inning. Becker freshman pitcher Kelsey Norberg (Uxbridge, Mass.) struck out seven, while not allowing an earned run in a complete-game two-hitter. Norberg didn't allow a run until the sixth inning or a hit until the seventh.

Freshman center fielder Janelle Ciomei (Stonington, Maine) went one-for-one with a walk and an RBI to score senior right fielder Samantha Moore (Etna, Maine). Freshman pinch-hitter Phyllicia Jordan (Waltham, Maine) had a hit in her only at-bat.

Thomas will be back in action tomorrow versus Hood at 1pm, then Franciscan at 3pm.
