Southern Maine Downs Men's Tennis

Gorham, Maine – The Thomas College Men's Tennis team (2-6, 2-4) was downed by the Huskies of Southern Maine (5-3) yesterday in a non-conference match-up, 8-1. The Huskies swept all three doubles points from the Terriers and headed into singles action with a 3-0 lead.

Thomas junior Keith Pike scored the lone point for the Terriers at sixth singles defeating USM freshman Alex Smelcer  in a tightly contested match 7-6 (1), 7-6 (2). 

Thomas travels to Johnson State on Saturday (1:00 p.m.) for a North Atlantic Conference match.
