Waterville, ME - Club Women's Basketball hosted the Boston University Club Basketball team in a doubleheader on Saturday, February 21st, but ultimately fell in both contests by final scores of 35-58 and 20-69.

How it Happened:

Game One: Thomas 35, Boston University 58

• Brooke Jones looked to lead the Terriers offense in the first half with eight points, but a strong offensive surge from Boston Univeristy put the Terriers down 19-35 heading into halftime.
• Jones, Taqiera Swinton, and Kendall Theriault continued to chip away at the Terriers deficit in the second half with made baskets, but despite the Terriers best efforts, Boston University ultimately held on to hand the Terriers a 35-58 loss in game one.
• Jones and Swinton led the Terriers offense in game one with 13 and 9 points respectively.

Game Two: Thomas 20, Boston University 69

• Buckets from Keza Hakalima, Breonna Dufrense, and Courtney Hutchinson got the Terriers offense going in the first half, but it was Boston University who would secure the momentum heading into halftime.
• The Terriers continued to battle in the second half with made jumpers from Jones.
• But Boston University controlled the remainder of the contest to hand the Terriers a 20-69 loss in game two.

What's Next:

• Club Women's Basketball will look to bounce back on Sunday, March 1st, hosting the Harvard University Club Basketball team in the Terriers final doubleheader of the season. Tip-off is scheduled for 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM at Larry Mahaney Gymnasium.
