Waterville, ME – The 2025 Women's Volleyball season has arrived, and student athletes returned last week to begin their preparations for the upcoming season. This year under new Head Coach
MJ Rose the team will look to build upon their NAC postseason appearance from 2024.

MJ Rose and her staff will work with the incoming class and the returners to have a successful season. Coach Rose also emphasized that she's focusing on dedication, consistency, and coachability with those student-athletes. Those incoming players are as follows:

Looking ahead to the regular season, Coach Rose is excited about the gameday atmosphere. "I want as many fans in the stands as possible, our games are electric and fast-paced to watch. I believe that packing the stands with students, staff, faculty, and other campus visitors would bring an even greater sense of community to our team." Coach Rose also wanted to highlight a few important matchups against conference opponents that would be important matches to watch. Those games are as follows, and all home games take place in the Larry Mahaney Gymnasium.

Coach Rose was also asked about her goals for the team this season, both in individual player development and team achievement. "I want to see all my athletes be successful and consistent in the classroom, and I will try my best to build and install a true "athlete mentality" in all my student athletes. In terms of team achievement, I want to do well against the teams in our conference and go as fast as we can in the NAC tournament."
Women's Volleyball will begin their regular season on Friday in Morrisville, New York, to take on Alfred State College. Match time is set for 5:00 PM.
