Brunswick, ME – The Men's and Women's Indoor Track teams competed at Bowdoin College on Saturday, February 15th. The Women's team finished 5th out of 9 teams, while the Men's team also placed 5th, competing against 8 teams. Two student-athletes qualified for the Division III New England Championships, and 6 school records were broken.
Women's Indoor Track and Field:
- Kara Anderson, a first-year, broke the school record in the Triple Jump with a mark of 9.88 meters (32'5"), finishing in 6th place.
- Emma Burr placed 2nd in the 600-meter with a time of 1:43.27. With this performance, she not only qualified for the New England Championships but also broke the school record set in 2022. Additionally, Burr set a new school record in the 60-meter dash, clocking in at 7.95 seconds.
- Amanda Winslow set a new school record in the 5000-meter, finishing 3rd with a time of 21:53.24.
Men's Indoor Track and Field:
- Thomas Grady will join Max Bojarski at the New England Championships in the weight throw, after placing third and recording a mark of 14.42 meters (47'4") to qualify.
- Max Bojarski broke his own school record in the weight throw with a new personal best of 15.43 meters (50'7").
What's Next:
The Terriers will travel to Bates College on Saturday, February 22nd for their final meet before the Division III New England Championships in Boston the following weekend.
