Springfield, MA - In a hard fought NECHA Conference game Springfield topped the Terriers 6-4 on Saturday, November 11th, 2023.


How It Happened:

• Springfield jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, but the resilient Terriers battled back to make it 2-2 quickly.
• Dylan Fortier scored the first, assisted by Dan Guarino and Kegan Rodrigue.
• Less than a minute later Jonah Bird scored his first career goal on a great pass from Colin Casserly and Mike Deveaux. 
• Springfield scored late in the first, sending The Pride to the locker room with a 3-2 lead. 
• Springfield extended it's lead to 5-2, but in true Terrier form they battled back. 
• Colin Hines hit Nick Fischetto with a tremendous pass, sending Fischetto in on a breakaway which he finished.
• With four minutes remaining in the period Colin Casserly cut the lead to 5-4 with an unassisted goal.
• Both teams had great chances in the 3^rd but it was Springfield that cashed in and took the win 6-4.

The Goalies:

• Mason Snider made 32 saves in net in the loss.

What's Next: 

• The Terriers will travel to take on Central Maine Community College on Friday, November 17th, 2023. Puck drop is scheduled for 8:30 PM.
