Matt D'Ortona were all named to the North East Collegiate Hockey Association All-Star team for their outstanding performances this past season for Men's Ice Hockey. This season the team went 12-12-2, and making it all the way to the NECHA Conference Semifinals after picking up wins against Colby College, the University of New England, and Dartmouth College to close out the season.

Joey Waraskevich was asked about the four All-Stars, he highlighted their impacts both on and off the ice. "We are extremely proud of our All-Star Selections. Each are very deserving and contributed to our success both on and off the ice. True to character they all thanked me when I gave them the news, but the real thanks is to them for their dedication and commitment to Thomas College Men's Ice Hockey."
Caleb Micklon, a junior forward from Lovell, Maine, was the team's leading scorer from last season. Micklon scored 12 goals and added nine assists for 21 points, which also led the team. A team captain and consistent contributor, Micklon's ability to find the back of the net in big moments helped the Terriers earn a huge playoff win.
Ian McClatchy, a first year defender from Havertown, Pennsylvania was a key part of the team's success this past season. McClatchy tallied six goals and seven assists for 13 points, stepping up in huge moments throughout the season for the Terriers, including the game winning goal in a home win against Bates this winter.
Devon Fay, a first year forward from Hinesburg, Vermont, was another key contributor down the stretch. Fay scored six goals and added six assists this season for 12 points, including two eventual game winning goals. Fay's ability to glide by opponents proved valuable, helping the team back to the playoffs.
Matt D'Ortona, a sophomore goaltender from Nashua, New Hampshire, was the team's anchor in net all season long. D'Ortona consistently came up with big saves in big moments for the Terriers, finishing the season with a 2.8 GAA, a .875 save percentage, and an incredible 473 saves.
