Box Score WINTER HAVEN, FL – Thomas College was defeated by Wisconsin-Oshkosh, 11-0 in a non-conference baseball game on Thursday afternoon. The game was the third day of contests for the Terriers on their southern swing in Florida.
The Titans erupted for five runs in the first inning, jumping out to a 5-0 advantage to open the game. They added two more in the second, and three in the fourth, along with one in the eighth to cruise to an 11-0 victory.
CJ Pendleton suffered the loss on the mound for the Red and Black, tossing five innings, yielding five earned runs, while striking out two. Rett Adams pitched two innings of scoreless ball, giving up just one hit with four strikeouts.
Tim Locke led the Thomas offense, hitting two of the Terriers four hits, going 2-3 in the DH position. The others hits came from the bats of Joe Quinlin and Derek Kane.
The squad will be back in action tomorrow as they take on crosstown rival Colby College in a doubleheader starting at 9:00 AM.
