Baseball Falls to Husson in NAC Championship Series

Bangor, ME – Baseball concluded their season as they fell to the Husson University Eagles by a score of 7-17 on Sunday, May 11th, 2025. This game served as the final game of the North Atlantic Conference Championship Series.

How it Happened:
  • Both teams started off slow, with Justin Conn pitching well for the Terriers to start.
  • The Eagles struck first in the bottom of the third inning after a single to left center and a double to right center made it 3-0.
  • The Terriers responded with two runs of their own after a double from DJ Cagnina and a single from Samuel Keblinsky scored a combined two runs.
  • However, the Eagles would continue their form by hitting a grand slam to make it 7-2 in the bottom of the fourth inning.
  • The Eagles combined for six runs in the next two innings, making it 13-2.
  • Despite the large Eagle lead the Terriers continued to work, scoring three runs in the seventh inning after hits from Jason Bartlett and Hayden Dippner scored three runs to make it 5-13.
  • The Eagles tacked on four runs in the bottom of the seventh, making it 5-17.
  • Keblinsky continued his impressive performance with another RBI in the eighth inning, and Tony Meza drove home another run in the ninth, making the final score 7-17.
  • Despite the loss Baseball had a very successful season, going 12-6 in conference play and making it to the Championship Series of the NAC Tournament.
