Rutland, Vt. – The first time the Thomas College Men's Tennis team (1-2, 1-2 NAC) met up with the Eagles of Green Mountain (1-3, 1-2 NAC), the Terrier were able to capture a 6-3 victory. On Saturday the Eagles were able to avenge their season opening loss to the Terriers with a 5-4 victory.
At #1 Singles Jeremy Cliff of Thomas defeated Sam Dixon of Green Mountain College 6-1, 6-2
At #2 singles Andrew Folan of Thomas was defeated by Samantha Tajirian of Green Mountain College 6-0, 6-1.
At #3 singles Keith Pike of Thomas was defeated by Chris Donovan of Green Mountain College 6-1, 6-0.
At #4 singles Jesse Peasley of Thomas was defeated by Mark Thiongo of Green Mountain College 6-4, 7-6 (8-6).
At #5 singles Matt Bolstridge of Thomas was defeated by Laura Mcree of Green Mountain College 7-6 (9-7), 6-1.
At #6 singles Josh Ross of Thomas defeated Tsering Sherpa of Green Mountain College 6-4, 6-2.
At #1 doubles Jeremy Cliff and Andrew Folan of Thomas defeated Sam Dixon and Samantha Tajirian of Green Mountain College 8-4.
At #2 doubles Matt Bolstridge and Josh Ross of Thomas were defeated by Chris Donovan and Laura McRee of Green Mountain College 8-3.
At #3 doubles Keith Pike and Jesse Peasley of Thomas defeated mark Thiongo and Tsering Sherpa of Green Mountain College 9-7.
The Terriers travel to Castleton Sunday for a 12 p.m. match up with the Spartans.
