Talia joins our program to provide a much needed scoring threat from the perimeter.  She is a pure shooter who can score points in bunches.  She will be depended upon to stretch defenses out with her ability to knock down the "3".  She will cause opponents fits as she will make it very dificult for opponents to help in the post or on dribble penetration.  Before arriving in Waterville this fall, Talia was a 3 sport standout at Amesbury High School where she excelled in field hockey, softball and basketball.  She led her team in scoring as a Senior on her way to All-Conference honors. 

Coach's Comment: "It will not take Terrier' fans very long to figure out why we recruited Talia so heavily.  She is a deadly shooter from beyond the arc, who will cause headaches for our opponents.  She has the ability to knock down 3's in flurries, and doesn't need much time or space to get her shot off.  Talia has been working very hard at her footwork and movement without the ball, and if she continues to do so she will be an extremely dangerous player for us.”

Talia is the daughter of Jerry and Ann Mondalto, and has not yet declared a major.
