Thomas College

Amanda enters her 3^rd season in a Terrier uniform with high expectations.  Amanda will be asked to take on the role of Co-Captain and team leader, as Thomas puts its youngest team on the floor in over a decade.  Amanda versatility and ability to play bigger than her size will provide the Lady Terriers with athleticism at all positions as they look to be a pressure team.  Amanda will need to become a more consistent scoring threat, and will need to continue to rebound for the Terriers to have a successful season.  Before arriving in Waterville in the Fall of 2003, Amanda had a standout career at East Grand High School, where she scored over 1000 points, and was named to the McDonald’s All-State Team.

Coach's Comment: "Amanda does all of the little things on the floor that don’t always show up in the stats, but coaches love.  She rebounds, defends, handles the ball, can shoot and can take it to the basket.  She is a relentless worker who instantly gained the respect of her teammates.  I am extremely pleased on how quickly she has stepped into a leadership role for this season’s team.  She has become more of a vocal leader to compliment her ability to lead by example.  All of her hard work is starting to pay off, as I look for Amanda to have a break out year.”

Amanda is the daughter of William and Barbara Godley, and is pursuing a degree in Psychology.
