Summary

Biography

Shauna enters her 2nd season in a Terrier uniform with high expectations.  Lessard will provide the Terriers with long range shooting from the perimeter.  As Shauna continues to gain confidence, look for her to turn some heads in the Sunrise Conference.

Coach’s Comment:  “Without question Shauna has had the best off season of anybody.  It was evident the first time she stepped into the gym she did the work to make herself a better player this summer.  She will be asked to provide us with some scoring punch this year.  She is arguably our best fundamental shooter, and with teams focusing on our dribble penetration Shauna should get plenty of quality looks at the basket.”

Shauna is also a member of the Women’s Soccer program and is studying Sports Marketing.  She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brian Lessard

As a Freshman:

Shauna played in some crucial games as Freshman, gaining some quality experience that should pay dividends during her career.  Her biggest game came in her first conference game at Machias, provided Thomas with 12 points off the bench in the first half.

 

In High School:

Shauna hails from Erskine Academy, where she excelled for Scott Corey in basketball and was also a member of the soccer team..
