Waterville, ME - Yaribel Pena and Amber Fortin both earned a spot on this week's North Atlantic Conference Honor Roll. The Terriers went 1-0-1 last week, defeating VTSU Lyndon 8-0, then following up with a 0-0 draw against St. Joe's on Sunday.

Yaribel Pena was one of the most important players for the Terriers this past week, dropping to a center midfield role for both games. Pena scored two goals and added an assist against VTSU Lyndon on Saturday, then was crucial both offensively and defensively against St. Joe's, helping the team to defend, keep possession, and eventually secure a draw to go undefeated on the week.

Amber Fortin had an incredible week on defense for the Terriers, helping guide the team to a crucial conference win and two shutouts. Fortin played almost every minute for the team this past week, including playing all 90 minutes against St. Joe's. Fortin had her best game of the week against the Monks, effectively shutting down their attack. By winning numerous 50/50 balls in the air and on the ground, blocking crosses, and clearing a number of balls out defensively, Fortin was the most important player for the team defensively, leading to two shutouts this past week.

Women's Soccer will be back in action on Wednesday, September 23rd, when they take on Maine Maritime Academy at home. Start time is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
