Fort Kent, ME - Women's Volleyball traveled to take on the University of Maine Fort Kent on Saturday, September 5th, 2026. The final score was 3-1 in favor of the Terriers, earning their first win of the 2026 season.

How it Happened:

• In the first set the Bengals started off well, eventually earning a 9-6 lead.
• However, a comeback from the Terriers thanks to several attack errors and kills from Jordan Child and Savannah Lopez saw the Terriers tie things up 11-11.
• The Terriers eventually closed out the set on a 8-2 run backed by several kills from Addison Lebel to win 25-21, and a 1-0 match lead.
• Both teams continued to match each other heading into the second set, where there were several lead changes.
• The Terriers once again rallied late in the set, going on an incredible 8-0 run to come from behind and win the second set 25-21 after several Bengal attack errors. 
• In the third set the Bengals were able to put together a good performance, taking a 12-7 lead early on.
• Despite several impressive digs from Camille Gibson, the Bengals prevailed in the third set 25-17, making the match score 2-1.
• The Terriers jumped out to a huge 12-4 lead in the fourth set thanks to several kills from Lebel, as well as Lindsay Pool.
• However, the Bengals went on a 5-1 run shortly after to cut the deficit to just four points.
• After several attack errors from the Bengals, kills from Lopez and Haley Vickery closed out the set 25-17.
• With the 3-1 win, the Terriers now move to 1-1 on the season.

What's Next:

• Women's Volleyball will be back in action when they travel to take on Massachussetts Maritime Academy on Thursday, September 10th, 2026. Game time is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
