Outdoor Track & Field Travels to Compete in NCAA Division III New England Championships

Springfield, MA - Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field traveled to compete in the NCAA Division III New England Championships. Student-athletes qualified for this meet based upon their individual performances prior to the meet. The Men's team placed in 26th out of 38 teams, and the Women's team placed in 24th out of 38 teams.

Women's Outdoor Track & Field:
  • Nabah Yahya placed fifth in the Women's 400 Meter with a time of 58:65. This time earned Yahya a new school record.
  • Yahya also placed 14th in the Women's 800 Meter with a time of 2:19.41. This time earned Yahya a new school record.
  • Yahya placed eighth in the Women's Triple Jump with a distance of 36 feet and 1.5 inches.
  • Emma Burr placed seventh in the Women's 100 Meter Hurdles with a time of 15.51. This time earned Burr a new school record.
  • Burr also placed third in the Women's Long Jump with a distance of 18 feet and nine inches.
  • Burr placed in 22nd in the Women's Shot Put with a distance of 34 feet and 9.5 inches.
  • Kara Anderson placed 16th in the Women's Triple Jump with a distance of 34 feet and nine inches.
  • Cassidy Hardy placed 10th in the Women's Discus with a distance of 118 feet and 11 inches.
  • Hardy also placed 11th in the Women's Javelin with a distance of 113 feet and 10 inches.
  • The Women's team placed in 24th out of 38 schools with 13 points.

Men's Outdoor Track & Field:
  • Nick Plamondon placed 8th in the Men's 100 Meter with a time of 11.08.
  • Plamondon also placed fifth in the Men's Long Jump with a distance of 22' 11".
  • Gage Bruns placed 14th in the Men's 1,500 Meters with a time of 4:07.15.
  • Alwin Andree, Bruns, Tristan Hughes, and Patrick McKenney in the Men's 4x800 Relay placed in fifth with a time of 7:59.28. This time set a new school record.
  • Treaz Hardy placed eighth in the Men's High Jump with a height of six feet and 3.5 inches.
  • Caleb Russo placed 13th in the Men's Javelin with a distance of 162 feet and seven inches.
  • The Men's team placed in 26th out of 34 schools with 10 points.

What's Next:
  • Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field will be back in action on Wednesday and Thursday, May 13th and 14th, 2026. Those who have qualified will travel to compete in the 2026 NCAA Division III National Championships.
