Baseball Splits Day Two Doubleheader Against NAC Leaders SUNY Cobleskill

Cobleskill, NY - Baseball battled to split their day two doubleheader against SUNY Cobleskill on Sunday, April 26th, 2026. The final scores were 6-1 and 5-11. Pitcher Kyle Delano also earned his 100th strikeout in the game one win, an impressive career accomplishment.

How it Happened:

Game One: 6-1 Win (7 Innings)
  • Cobleskill struck first in the opening inning, capitalizing on a sacrifice fly to take an early 1–0 lead.
  • The Terriers responded in the second inning when Grady Hotham delivered an RBI double, scoring Gavin Clark to even the score at 1–1.
  • The game remained tight until the sixth inning, when Thomas broke things open.
  • A series of wild pitches allowed the Terriers to take the lead, with Evan Nadeau, Hayden Dippner, and Gus Hollen all playing key roles in the chaos on the basepaths, making it 2-1.
  • Ajay Rychcik added to the rally with an RBI single, scoring Dippner, extending the advantage to 3-1.
  • Rychcik also capitalized on a wild pitch, ultimately bringing home Hollen to push the lead to 4-1.
