Baseball Falls in Away Doubleheader Against NAC Leaders SUNY Cobleskill

Cobleskill, NY - Baseball traveled to take on SUNY Cobleskill in their four game doubleheader weekend. In day one the Terriers fell in both games, falling 2-15 and 4-18 on Saturday, April 25th, 2026. Hayden Dippner, a junior, recorded his 100th career hit in the doubleheader.

How it Happened:

Game One: 2-15 Loss
  • SUNY Cobleskill struck first in the opening inning with an RBI double, then capitalized on defensive errors in the second inning to take the lead 3–0.
  • Thomas responded in the third inning, showing some offensive life.
  • DJ Cagnina drove in the team's first run with an RBI single bringing home Hayden Dippner.
  • Gavin Clark followed with another RBI knock, with Cagnina scoring an unearned run to cut the deficit to 3–2.
  • SUNY Cobleskill answered immediately and broke the game open with a dominant stretch from the third through the sixth innings, making it 15-2.
  • They capped scoring with a run in the sixth to reach 15 total runs, ending the game soon after in the seventh.
