Brooklyn, NY - Men's Tennis dominated in their season opener, nearly sweeping the Brooklyn College Bulldogs by a score of 6-1.

How it Happened:

• Dominic Clifford and Camden Herrick at #1 doubles earned a hard fought 7-6 win.
• Thai Nguyen and Nick Magiera dominated at #2 doubles, earning a 6-1 victory.
• To wrap up doubles play Calvin Cutler and Ricky Salazar earned a 6-4 win, giving the Terriers a key advantage headed into singles.
• At #1 singles Nguyen won 6-1 in set one, fell 6-7 in set two, but was able to rebound and win 10-6 in the third set to take the win, giving the Terriers one point toward the overall score.
• In #2 singles Clifford earned a dominant 6-1 victory, giving the Terriers a 2-0 match lead.
• Herrick at the #3 spot fell in the first set 2-6, but rallied to win 6-2, 6-1 in the final two to win his match.
• Cutler in #4 singles fell 2-6, 2-6.
• At the #5 singles spot Magiera won 6-2, 6-2, making the match score 4-1.
• And finally at #6 singles Noh Cook was able to earn another match win, winning 6-4 6-4, to make the final score a 6-1 win for Thomas.

• Men's Tennis will be back in action on Saturday, March 14th, when they travel to take on Hunter Cllege in Queens, New York. Start time is scheduled for 12:00 PM.
