Women's Basketball Earns 3rd Straight Win With Dominant Road Conference Win Over SUNY Delhi

Delhi, NY - Pryelle Kesse-Beda (16 pts) and Emily Hagerty (15 pts) led Women's Basketball to a dominant 75-26 North Atlantic Conference road win over the SUNY Delhi Broncos on Saturday, January 10th. The win over the Broncos marks the Terriers 3rd straight win in 2026, improving the Terriers overall record to 9-4 and 5-2 within conference play.

How it Happened:
  • Elena Alderman and Holly Loring would give the Terriers the momentum early in the opening minutes of the 1st quarter with back to back buckets.
  • A made jumper from Kay McLellan and layup from H. Loring would keep the Terriers offense rolling minutes later.
  • The Terriers would close the final minutes of the 1st quarter with a 10-4 scoring run to make it a 18-8 game after 10 minutes of play.
  • Both teams would get off to a slow start early in the 2nd quarter, but a Mykey Avni three-pointer and bucket in the paint from Kesse-Beda would get the Terriers back on track.
  • The Terriers would take control of the remainder of the 2nd quarter in dominant fashion, out scoring the Broncos 18-1 to take a 36-9 lead at the half.
  • H. Loring and Alderman would help extend the Terriers lead to 31 points in the opening minutes of the 3rd quarter with back-to-back buckets in the paint.
  • Emily Hagerty and Kesse-Beda would take over the Terriers offense minutes later with 11 combined points in less than three minutes.
  • The Terriers would close out the final minutes of the 3rd quarter with points in the paint from Kaya Loring, Brooklyn Calder, and Alderman to make it a 58-20 game with 10 minutes remaining in regulation.
  • Kesse-Beda, McLellan and Hagerty would keep the Terriers offense going in the opening minutes of the 4th quarter.
  • But the Terriers would ultimately take control of the remaining minutes of the 4th quarter to secure a 75-26 North Atlantic Conference win on the road.
