Waterville, Maine – Shafi Ibrahim scored all three goals as the Terriers earned a 3-1 victory against the Curry College Colonels on Saturday, September 6^th, 2025.
 
How it Happened:

• The Terriers struck early, as a good through ball from Micky Woodrow found Ibrahim, who took a touch around the Colonels goalkeeper and slotted the ball in the net to make it 1-0.
• Just six minutes later David Ivarsson found Ibrahim, who scored his second of the game to make it 2-0.
• The Terriers largely dominated the first half, generating a total of 16 shots in the first 45 minutes.
• Despite a few good looks on goal later in the half, the Terriers went into halftime only up 2-0.
• The Colonels came out of the halftime break well, generating a few shots on goal, one of which needed to be saved from Diego Barcelos.
• In the 58^th minute the Colonels scored an impressive long-range goal, cutting the Terrier lead to just one against the run of play.
• The Terriers were able to respond almost immediately in the 61^st minute, when Ibrahim was able to use his speed to generate a breakaway – eventually scoring his third goal of the game.
• 10 Minutes later Andrew Hodgins nearly made it a three-goal lead, but his shot from inside the box slammed off the left post.
• Neither team were able to generate any clear-cut opportunities for the remainder of the game, and the Terriers earned a 3-1 victory.
