Franklin, MA – Field Hockey traveled to take on the Dean College Bulldogs on Tuesday, September 16^th, 2025. The final score was 4-0 in a dominant performance from the Terriers.
 
How it Happened:

• The Terriers took a quarter to settle into the game and only generated a few shots that went wide in the first.
• Headed into the second quarter the Terriers turned up the intensity, generating a combined 10 shots in 15 minutes.
• Three minutes into the second Maci Freeman found Leah Knight, who scored to give the Terriers a 1-0 lead.
• Shots from Caroline Hendrickson, Kara Richards, and Samantha Thebarge over the next few minutes were all denied by the Bulldog defense.
• With less than a minute left in the half Tatiana Roque scored a solo goal to make it 2-0.
• The Terriers started the third how they ended the second, continuing to dominate the game.
• Shots from Thebarge and Paige Gilbert both needed to be saved by the Bulldog goalkeeper in the opening minutes.
• Three minutes into the third Hendrickson scored a solo goal to make it 3-0, giving the Terriers a comfortable lead.
• However, the Bulldogs flipped the script for the next few minutes, forcing a good save from Terrier goalkeeper Mackenzie Toner.
• With less than a minute left in the third a penalty corner from Freeman found Thebarge, who scored to make it 4-0.
• The Terriers had eight more shots in the fourth quarter, but none found the back of the cage, making the final score 4-0.
