Baseball Falls to Bates College in Road Matchup

Lewiston, ME – Baseball fell to the Bates College Bobcats in a road matchup on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025. The final score was 4-25.

 
How it Happened:
  • The Terriers found themselves down early and were unable to keep pace in the first few innings.
  • The Bobcats jumped out to an 8-0 lead headed into the sixth inning.
  • Despite the adversity up to this point, the Terriers were able to put together a good offensive inning.
  • Samuel Keblinsky hit a sacrifice fly that scored Tony Meza to make it 1-8.
  • Another sacrifice fly, this time from Aaron Young scored Cam Haynes.
  • A single from Hayden Dippner scored DJ Cagnina, and Keblinsky was able make it home from a throwing error to make it 4-8.
  • However, the Bobcats would then score 10 in the bottom of the inning, eventually leading to a 4-25 loss.
 
What's Next:
  • Baseball will be back in action on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, when they travel to take on the Husson University Eagles in a doubleheader. First pitches are scheduled for 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM.
