Standish, ME – Cam Haynes helped Baseball earn a big 16-8 win as the team traveled to take on the Saint Joseph's College of Maine Monks in a single nine inning contest on Wednesday, April 16^th, 2025.

How it Happened:

• The Terriers got off to a positive start when Hayden Dippner was able to score the game's first run off of a wild pitch.
• DJ Cagnina followed up by bringing home Tony Meza to make it 2-0.
• However, the Monks responded in the bottom of the inning to score three runs, making it 2-3.
• The Terrier offense exploded in the second inning, scoring six runs thanks to Dippner, Meza, and a grand slam from Cam Haynes to make it 8-3.
• Haynes followed up with a double in the fourth inning that scored another run, with Bryce Bardwell also scoring two runs from a single to make it 11-3.
• Haynes continued his career day in the fifth, hitting a single that scored Elijah Morton and Dippner to make it 13-3.
• A Monks single in the sixth and some good baserunning in the seventh eventually made the score 14-8.
• Cagnina and Haynes both scored in the eighth and ninth innings, making the final score 16-8.
• Haynes nearly hit for the cycle, hitting a single, double, and home run.
