Waterville, ME – Softball traveled across town to play the Colby College Mules in a doubleheader on Wednesday, March 19
th, 2025. The final scores were 1-3 and 1-5.
Thomas College: Overall (5-9)

How it Happened:
Game 1:
- In the first inning the Mules got on the scoreboard first, with a solo home run giving them a 1-0 lead.
- A single from Mackenzie Toner in the top of the third inning scored Kayla Duhaime to tie things up at 1-1.
- The Mules were able to respond with three runs in the bottom of the inning, making it 1-3.
- Megan Oberholzer proved to be a valuable presence in the pitching circle, shutting down the Mules for the majority of the game.
- The Terriers best chance to score in the top of the seventh inning, but a strikeout ended the game in a 1-3 loss to the Mules.

Game 2:
- Addy Boyce was locked in a pitching duel with the Mules pitcher through the first three innings, with the Terriers taking the lead in the top of the third inning.
- A single from Oberholzer advanced Carlie Jarvais to second, and Toner reached on an error in the next at bat that scored Jarvais.
- The Terriers took their 1-0 lead into the bottom of the fourth inning, where the Mules responded with two runs of their own after a double.
- The Mules scored three more runs in the fifth inning to take a 5-1 lead.
- Brooklyn Federico pitched a solid sixth inning, but the Terriers were unable to take advantage and eventually fell 1-5.
